Chat Support Tips for Magic Online:
- If you experienced a problem in an event, please have your Event ID and MTGO username ready for the agent.
- To save a record of your live chat conversation, click the menu in the open chat window, and then click Email transcript. We also create tickets in your support history for all chat contacts, and you should get an email notification for that automatically.
- Never share passwords or social security numbers in chat. We may ask for other information like billing address or last 4 digits of your credit card in order to verify that you are the account owner for some kinds of support requests.
- We recommend using Chrome or Firefox as your browser
Chat Support Tips for Product Replacement:
- If you opened a damaged or defective product, we ask that you provide photos of the product and defect you experienced.
- Be sure to capture a picture of the Production Code. To find a Production Code, check this article: How Do I Find a Production Code.
- Please be prepared to provide your shipping address and contact information for replacement purposes.
- If your question is relating to a previous contact, please have your ticket or order number ready.
